POETRY ATTEMPTS BY A FLUSTERED FAIRY is my second poetry book. The poems contained within these pages were born on my phone. I affectionately refer to them as "attempts" because they are raw, untamed, and unedited. They emerged from my self, spontaneously and unfiltered. I wanted to turn them into a book: a collection of feelings, thoughts, and emotions. For me, these words represent the moments when magic travels through my being. When I feel the irresistible urge to reach for my phone and pour my heart onto the notes app, I stop being the observer, to become the creator. This necessity to write is my creative self's way of saying "hello!" When I listen to the call of this unrefined creativity, I experience a profound sense of empowerment. I feel intimately connected to the source. (God?)
